Am I in my right to demand a picture of me be deleted off a cellphone?

The other day I visited the Church of Scientology in time square and one of the employees there snapped a picture of me on her cellphone. I demanded that the picture be deleted but they refused.
My question is do I have the legal right to demand my picture be deleted?
 
IF you were in a public place, you have no expectation of privacy, in other words, if you're out somewhere they and anyone else can take all the pictures they want.
