Am I Good Enough To Be A Web Designer?

I am thinking of doing web design commissions, but I'm not sure if I have what it takes compared to other people. I have an advanced diploma in multimedia, and I know HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, and sort of Fireworks. I don't know PHP though.

Please tell me if you think I would be cut out to be a web designer, or if I need to continue improving. I appreciate honesty, but if you say I suck, at least keep it constructive and tell me why, thanks. :) Also, around how much should I charge for a website?

they are ok, just like a little boringish. like just average nothing special. sorry just tellin u what i think. maybe if u add more color and pix? idk im not a pro lol
 
I think you certainly do have what it takes to do this professionally...we are all learning new things, I know absalutely nothing lol but i would recommend learning PHP as most shopping software uses this and you can really do well if you include creating online shops.
Have you tried http://www.ifreelance.com might be what you are after.
Good luck...if you knew php i'd ask you to fix my shop up lol grrrr
 
i think it is very good and we all need room for improvement( it is learning and continuing to learn that makes us better...right?).... i dont know how much you should charge however maybe run a special promotion until you really get your business up and running
