I am a sprinter but I am doing XC this year because my best friend does it and I want it to benefit my track season.
i've done a crapload of sprint workouts, and notcied a considerable gaining of muscle mass... am I going to lose all my sprint-work with the longer-ran xc workouts?
is it a bad idea for me to do my own sprint-workouts? because i heard the summer should be less about speed-workouts and just getting mileage. I was just going to do what I did for track, plus getting mileage, too. all while npt trying to over-due myself of course, since this is my first year of XC and I'm a junior next year, but I've been running track since 7th grade.
