I have a question. I just want to know if I am going to jail, what will happen with my case. 3 yrs ago got charged with retail theft/underring it was a misdemeanor of the 1st degree i got ARD with that. Now last year I got caught shoplifting and it is less than 20 dollars.The officer gave me a non-traffic citation and a summons was issued. What does that mean? So is that a misdemeanor of the 2nd degree? Should i hire an attorney b/c this is a 2nd offense. Am i going to jail?
