Am i eligible for financial aid?

I am a high school student in california and since i am in high school i have the chance to go to ceritos college while i am attending school for free.. I wanted to know if i would be able to get financial aid for books and tools as i am going to get into the automotive industry and ceritos asks that you supply your own tools and a decent sized tool set is about $2,500
