Am i eligible for financial aid.....?

I'm 24, living with my mom, and my dad pays me under the table to help him when he needs me. Both my parents make pretty good money, but are not willing to pay for me to go to trucking school. with my situation, am i eligible for financial aid? even though my parents could afford it?
 
If you are 24 or older on the January 1 of the year, you are eligible to file as independent. They will ask for your income information, though so you'll need to show them where your income is coming from.

And you need to start paying taxes on your income.
 
I agree with SUBA; however, you'll also need to find out if "trucking school" is covered by financial aid as a legitimate college. If it's simply a training program, then you'll have to pay out-of-pocket.
