Am I doing interval training on the treadmill correctly?

I do a total of one hour

I run for 10min a speed at about 5.5 or 6


then for the next hour I bump the speed all the way up to 12

Run for a full min

Then I step on the sides of the treadmill so I am no longer running but the treadmill but it is still going,

I rest for a min, then run for a min..so on and so forth

when I get to tiered I will run for 30 sec then rest for a min..

For a full hour..

Is this good?
