Why would an intelligent and people person push my button? He likes to upset or annoy me. Keep in mind this is a male master student with work experience while I am female undergrad. I want to know what tick him? Why he likes to annoy me and the next want to go to lunch (with me and another girl) or invite us over to his house for school work? Yet, he will not help me or reply to my email when I need help. It likes he see me as competition. He seems to think that I naivete or inexperience of the world affair (which is is crappy bc it is partially true).
I need to know to neutralize this situation. I will begin avoiding him after my last team meeting (keep in mind he pretty popular but I could careless being a loner). I just hate to make enemies in school or attract really annoying guys who mess with my head.ll those other people don't know that he a "true" mind player. He used to work as a manager and did HR stuff. He thinks I am amateur but he is so wrong. How to beat him at his own game?
Yes, I am aware he has been getting under my skin. It is just very hard bc I can see him for what he "mentally" capable of doing but I am unable to steer away from him bc of friends and teammates connection.

It seems like he likes to socialize (he is an international student from Spain). His personality - intelligent, sarcastic, cynical, see business concepts very objectively, is the youngest son, need to be in control, and arrogant. He stop messing and pulling other colleagues but he intentional picking on me (touching my school supplies, close my laptop when I am using it, etc). He needs to upset me or get my attention. I told him several time to stop and he likes to continue pushing it. He only stop if I say he is upsetting me. I don't want to deal with him and want to complete avoid but it is not possible.
