Ok struggling to think whether what I'm thinking is righ with the amount of nhs proffessionals telling otherwise.
Ok so i'm a young 22year old who has had a bad back for over a year now, I first had an nhs Rhumatologist confirm what I thought that it was soft tissue muscle damage. After a year I had enough and decided to go private, within 5minutes he told me I had had a thrasic disc prolapse therefore making it actually spinal.
Iv had numerous people mention MRI scans and much info I hav looked at on the net has mentioned MRI scans so as u can image I feel as tho I shud of had one by now.
Since I have been seeing the private physiotherapist my upper back has improved immensly, but my lower back has made zero recovery and last week started a massively turable downwarRAB, to the point it was excruciating pain to walk and I was spending all my time in bed. As u can imagine I paniced and hav become extremly worried, went doctors asked for an MRI scan as I'm so worried and only 22years. The doc assured me I didn't need one and referee back to the rhumatologist who got it completly wrong, I explained bout my physio, so he sed if he writes to him.... So asked physio who then got offended as he obviously thought I was undermining him.
so omg massively stressed, feel like no ones listening and I hav no idea wat to do. Can anyone offer me advise? Are the medical proffessionals in te right here thinking I don't need an MRI scan?
Thanks x
