Am I being cheated, by a tarot reader?

I just recently dished out 475 for a tarot reading and a cleansing and now I have to pay 1,000 for a image cleansing including the special candle that is said to be made with the "churches" help...I have faith but I don't want to waist that amount of money on a charlatan I need real answers from knowledgeble ppl.
