I am paid very well in my current organization, however in the last few months the work load has reduced from overload to almost 'do nothing'. Jobs have reduced primarily because of the company's inability to win contracts and survive the market. A few employees left on their will, while a few were retrenched. Although the company did get a few contracts, they decided to make use of other employee/(s) instead of me to execute them. They however continue to pay me full and have never uttered about retrenchment/firing.
Am i benched? or the management believes in waiting for bigger contracts to position me (Which i have done before) or is this a clear message from the management asking me to find my way out. I am a professional and I do not wish to continue earning while warming the bench? what should i do ??
