am I a feminist for having to have an education, for having to pursue a career, and

for having to get a job? in this world where everyone is required to do all those things?

does being a woman, and having to do all those things, whether I like it or not, make me a feminist? as someone here had said:

"You like getting paid the same as a man for the same job? You enjoy having your own bank account? Getting an education? Pursuing a career?

If "yes" then you are a feminist.
You belong to the 'I'm not a feminist BUT..." feminists."

does that make any sense?

"It appears that we are in the midst of a paradoxical time that Douglas (1995) calls, "I'm not a feminist, but." In other words, many young adults may live feminist lives and promote feminist ideals but refuse to use the label feminist. Ashcraft (1998)."

You are the one with the hang-up, not me. I'm a second waver, been there and done that, more than you can ever know.
