But the fact that they're thinking of it is just so sad. Why can't they come up with clever new ideas instead of destroying the ideas of predecessors? *sigh*

I think a new animated Alvin would be cool.

i woke up with the chipmunk song bangin on a trash caaan. strummin on a street liiiiiiiiight stuck in my head. why? i have no idea :lol:
 
They are little cuties!

My hubby can't stand watching them due to their voices, but I love the chipmunk voices. They're exactly how I'd imagine a chipmunk to sound ;).
 
They had better not try to make a computer animated Chipmunks movie.! That would be... bad.

Simon could try contacts, and discover that they dry his eyes too much. And that he isn't able to use the special concoctions because they cause even more problems. Therefore, he will be unable to continue wearing contacts.
 
I remeraber an episode in which the Chippettes were in an orphanage that was not unlike Miss Hannigan's from the movie Annie. They ran away from the orphanage and headed to Los Angeles, to try their luck as singers/entertainers.

The next thing I know, they are with this daft old lady who, though she means well, is not exactly what one would consider to be the best candidate for foster care. I mean, sure it works well for certain plotlines, but come on...
 
Can't they find some other cartoon to mess up? If they want to do something with the Chipmuks, then have it animated.

I loved the Gremlins movies. The second one was better, in my opinion. I have a larger version of my av as an icon on LiveJournal. I like Gizmo. :D
 
I must chime in and say how much I love the Chipmunks movie! When I was younger I used to rent it all the time. :sigh:

Cartoon Network for a while was playing Alvin for a while, but I'm not sure if they are anymore.

Does anyone remeraber the one movie they had, where they were flying around in the hot air balloons? I used to watch that all of the time. I wish I could find a copy of it now so I could see it again. Oh well....
