I gotta wonder how they're going to do this, as...horribly sad as it is. Will the voices be similar to the cartoons? Will it be really sappy, or a "comedy"? Or both...

Ha, I can see it being something about the chipmunks finding the guy a girl.

Yeah, not digging the poop joke. Otherwise, it looks pretty decent. The thing that gets me is the whole thing saying they vanished and are back now. I'm like: "Didn't they just make a movie with the Wolf Man a couple years ago?"

Anyway, all I have to say is that there had better be some good songs in the movie. If you're going to make a movie about the Chipmunks (possibly the first "music cartoon" ever), then the soundtrack has to be two things: 1) squeaky and 2) awesome. The first one is usually not a problem.

So I'm sitting down to watch the Simpsons movie and waiting to see the previews for "The Dark Knight" and "Walk Hard", two movies I REALLY want to see.

RUN-DMC??? Their look was black leather jackets and gentlemens hats. If anything Chipmunks look more LL Cool J ("I'm BAD") w/ Kool Moe Dee shades. Simon looks more like Sen Dawg from Cypress Hill w/ that bucketcap. These are their stage clothes. Deep down Simon is still the bookworm scientist and Theodore the sincere, naive foodie. I smell sequel w/the Chippettes.

I mean if this movie succeeds what's next? The Chipette Movie with a Red headed Brittnay who looks like Brittney Spears? Jeanette Looking like Mariah Carey? and Eleanor? Does Christina Aguillera come to mind?

No no no no! I won't watch it.. Not in a million billion years.. or until the sun burns out my the back of my eyes.. which ever comes first.

I just hope they're housebroken... and aren't carrying the plague.. else.. we're doomed..Seriously.

You know what? If something like this ends up convincing a DVD manufacturer to take a chance on putting any of the Chipmunk shows on DVD, then it's worth it no matter how bad the movie is.

Oh Jason Lee. Have you learn nothing from your show, "My name is Earl", about karma. How doing bad stuff come back to bite you in the butt later on.
And why are Alvin and the Chipmunk rappers when they are supposed to be rockers?
I am afraid of how Brittany and the female chipmunks will look.
