If I'm getting a tablet from a no name company, anything lower than 2.1 is a no go as there will probably never be any upgrades.

Not better than the Huawei S7. Android 2.1, they said they would upgrade to 2.2, snapdragon, 2mp forward facing camera, wifi and a SIM slot, capacitive screen... Its more expensive at 350 but, it looks real nice. I would get one if I wasn't going to basic training in September. I'm thinking I'll just wait until after basic and hopefully even better tablets will be out.
