I guess it's nice to look at, it's certainly dark and moody, but I think the BitTorrent community has enough dark, pseudo-glass-looking style sheets.

I can't check the frontend since I don't have an account anymore, but here's a screen of their frontpage:

I think preto.me is a great site and they probably could have filled a gap if they had been able to handle a large influx of users. But with the server problems, that wasn't happening. And despite their solid pretimes, they do not fit the same scene niche as well as SCC.

The fact is 2500+ SCT users are now on SCC, including some of the most active old school members. I think that says it all.

I'm surprised GFT hasn't been mentioned as an alternative to ScT.

After all, according to FSF, it was the third highest (after FTN and ScT) requested private tracker of 2009.

I was actually just kidding about Scl, Senor. It's interesting the site is even still around.

Anyways, I would definitely look into Pretome myself. Mainly for the no ratio, and the ton of content. Plus the forums are pretty active too. It's an all around good site.
