I have a 2005 Dodge Neon that is having a problem where it won't start and it just clicks and the battery light will come on and my lights/radio etc. will come on but the car won't start... I have changed the battery to see if that will solve the problem but I am worried it might be the alternator. The guy @ Autozone told me he cannot test my alternator because it is located behind the engine and would cost me a bundle to get to and could possibly involve removing my engine to get to... everyone I ask say this has to be a lie because the alternator is almost always in a location that is easily accessible. Is this guy telling me the truth and I have an odd model car? or am I geeting worked over?
