Alternative to the N900: Could be WM but I perfer Andriod

Hey

Nokia isnt doing too much on its end to better the Maemo platform so lets look for a alternative to the N900.
A alternative has to have ALL the features of the N900 and then some. Andriod looks like a nice mobile OS but Ill go WM as well. And just for the record the most important feature (ills turn on the caps, color, bold, and size tags for this one):

IT MUST HAVE A QWERTY PHYSICAL KEYBOARD

The TP2 is the best option in my opinion. It's too complicated to get tethering to work on Android phones. PDANet is not an option for me because it won't work with my Cradlepoint router. You can root the phone for wifi tethering but I've been hearing that it can drain the battery faster than it charges. With the TP2, it's effortless to enable wifi or USB tethering and works with my router.
 
Get Android in the form of Motorola Milestone or Dext (Droid and Cliq for US users) or LG GW620 Eve. Others are coming like from HTC.

More apps a lot more apps (20,000 for Android to 800 in WM in the online store), more responsive, more robust (impossible to crash), better software support (yes you get OS updates; you don't have to buy a new phone to get one), superior push notification systems which comes in handy with social networking.
 
Yeah, I ONLY have 150+ apps installed right now on my Droid, and I'm ONLY left with 67mb of space left...

Out of about 250mb of space, I've used about 190 of it, and have over 150 programs. Many of those I really haven't used since I first downloaded 'em.

I basically install every app that looks like I might want/need it, and if I find I don't like it, I delete it. If I MAY use it in the future, I keep it on my phone.

By the way, almost every app takes all of about 10-15 seconds to download... so, I really have access to about 20,000 apps as long as I'm willing to wait the 30 seconds needed to download it and have it install itself (which, once you start the download, it'll download and install in the background, while you do other things).

Not really sure how this is a major problem.

One thing seldom mentioned is that there are a LOT of Android apps which are FREE in the Android market, but cost $$$ for the iPhone! ShapeWriter is free for the Android, but my son wanted to download it for his iPod Touch, and it was (I believe) $2.99. Not a fortune, but I find this happening repeatedly... free on the Android Market, gotta pay for the exact same program on the iPhone Apps store! $3 here, $2 there... starts to add up.
