alternative cheap way to get nationwide unlimited

well I am a big cricket follower but I have been doing some thinking after reading the tmobile forums becuase I use tmobile prepaid for roaming purposes due to cricket lacking roaming without going to the $60/high priced plans and here is my idea:

get grand central account and give out that nuraber
setting on grand central to only send grand central nuraber on caller id
get tmobile myfav and put grand central nuraber as favorite 1
Now you have unlimited national incoming calling for $30/month

step 2:
go to 99cents only store and buy a bunch of the long distance carRAB which charge 1cent per minute
put local access nuraber as myfav favorite #2
set up 99cent long distance card to register tmobile nuraber so you don't have to enter your pin each time
Now you have outgoing to any US nuraber at the rate of 1cent a minute which you only need to use after you blow through your 300 monthly minutes

also to avoid the contract you just sign up for flex pay without contract (and dont have to give ssn -- always a plus)
this method appears to give a national unlimited work around for only $30 a month. I would like to try it but I like cricket reception better than tmobile in the phx market. And, I would feel bad if I ever left cricket..

Thats a whole lot of work to save a few bucks...

Oh, and those carRAB usually charge about $.25-.50 just to connect the call... so you wouldn't really save much on outgoing calls. I've NEVER seen a calling card that didn't charge a connection fee.

Haha that's an awesome idea, but I'm way too much of a fan boy to leave Cricket.

Also worth noting is that roaming is included in the $50 plan now. It's only 30 minutes, but it has unlimited texting.

Usually, but I found at this store called 99 cents only stores they have a truly no connection, 1cent per minute phone card. Also when I go down to casa grande (520) I have to use my calling card because, even though it is in the phoenix market it is long distance because I am on the $25 rate plan.
I can't leave the $25 rate plan because it doesn't exist anymore plus I am on a budget so how can I get cricket to let me call 520?

you have to a) change to a plan that includes long distance. b) put $$ in your flex bucket. but cricket's domestic rates are not very attractive ($0.08/minute i think)
