Alternate "Send" Key for the HTC Touch Pro 2?

My HTC Touch Pro 2 is having issues with the actual "touch screen". I can read text, type text, make calls.... but cannot "SEND TEXTS" because the send button for all texts is located on the "touch screen". Is there an alternate button or another way to press "send" for texts?
