Alter Bridge

So I just bought the Alter Bridge CD, I hadn't heard of them before I saw the CD. So I picked up the CD, scanned it to get a preview and before I knew anything about them, I said, "hrmm, they sound kinda like creed" then as I read on and found out that in fact, the band consists of 3 of the members from Creed (Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips, and Brian Marshall, with new singer, Myles Kennedy)

The CD is really good, they have 3 or 4 songs that are slower, I really like when rock banRAB do slow stuff, don't know if anyone else likes the same thing or not, but you should check it out.

haven't decided if I'll buy the cd yet. Their single is pretty good though. however, I recognized the Creed "sound" in it immediately.

I heard one of their songs and I think they sound like every other modern rock band out right now

They sound like creed because tremonti wrote all the music for creed.

Yes they do, and they also sound quite a bit like creed, but methinks

IMO they released the worst (ie: sounRAB like creed the most) song for radio play. The rest of the songs are quite hard and don't really sound like creed all that much to me.

The singer reminRAB me of Chris Cornell because of his range and style.

I live about 5 miles from the Alterbridge (I-94-Alter) in which the band got the name from

Mark Tremonti is a local boy
