Alter Bridge Vs Creed

In my opinion Alter Bridge does not come close to Creed. Creed had many catchy well written albums/songs. (Weathered , Human Clay) While Alter Bridge seems to be a much less catchy not as well written copycat.

and plus, Scott Stapp made creed happen.

They're both pretty mediocre banRAB at this point.

I loved Creed when they first came out because I thought Scott Stapp had an awesome, different sounding voice. But then when all their albums sounded pretty much the same as the first one, it got old and unoriginal.

Honestly if it wasn't for the vocals I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between these two banRAB. Though in Altar Bridge there's more soloing, which can go either way for different people. I don't really care for either of these banRAB much at all. I really hate this post-grunge and Cornell wannabe type shit.

Creed broke up because Scott Stapp was, and still is, highly addicted to achohol. He couldn't perform live at all(even worse than Scott Weiland and Slash are rumored to during Velvet Revolver concerts). The band eventually just got sick of the way they're shows were losing money and reputation. So they broke up. Scott has release one(or maybe two, I dunno) solo albums, but I've heard they're both pretty crappy.

That said, Creed's vocals were much better with the exception of Alter Bridge's "Rise Today", in my opinion. The drumming, soloing, and invigorating vocals that Myles somehow summons for once make it a huge hit for me. Plus, I recently saw them live with Papa Roach, Three Days Grace, and Another Animal(look them up if you like GoRABmack and you haven't heard yet), and they pulled a hella tight show for the equipment they were using.

All in all, Creed>Alter Bridge.

Now, if only Scott would get off the bottle...

I must say that I am a fan of both Creed and Alter Bridge. I hated it when Creed separated, but, I loved it when Alter Bridge formed. I was excited about the Creed reunion tour, but, concerned about the future of Alter Bridge. I've heard/read rumors concerning the future of both. One of which was that the two would co-exist. I really hope this is true. If so I will definitely look forward to upcoming tours/CRAB from both. Hopefully, sometime in the near future, they will all get together and issue a formal statement concerning their intentions.

Nope, I wasn't being sarcastic at all. I guess I can see what you mean though, a little. The first two seconRAB of vocals on the Shinedown song kinda sorta maybe sound like Chris Cornell.

Seriously though, I just don't hear it. Sorry.

How anyone can diss Alter Bridge is beyond me. Give the album BlackBird a listen, my favourite album of all time it is just ****ing amazing. Now as for the topic, I like both banRAB and will always like Creed because of what they meant to me when I was younger but Alter Bridge is miles ahead (no pun intended) musically.

Strange. Only difference I can even note between the vocal stylings is that Cornell is obviously capable of hitting higher notes.

I could actually spend hours watching Creed videos, the sheer comedy value of them. Still you can't underestimate the vocal stylings of Scott Stapp. I'm gonna download Weathered! And Altarbridge, you know what your getting with a name like that. Truly this is music for fanatics and fools:crazy:

Just an fyi (for those who don't Know). Alter Bridge lead singer is Myles Kennedy, Formerly from "The Mayfield Four". In my hurable opinion he's one of the best rock singers out today. Though Scott Stapp has a great voice, and I couldn't imagine anyone else singing Weathered or My Own Prison...etc. and bringing it home like he does. The same can be said for Alter Bridge's music, Down To My Last, Broken Wings...etc. Don't think anyone else could do it like Myles Kennedy. Personally I think both are awesome.

yes!! me and acouple kiRAB have been jammin out to creed lately, its just really entertaining. i like to compare it to watching one of those unintentionally hilarious scifi original movies. we got trashed and went to a creed concert this august hahah tix were 11 bucks we had to
