Has anybody ever used this product with a palm TX? I was wondering because on the palm site, it states that it's compatible with the tx, then at the bottom it says Compatible only with Treo 650 smartphones originally sold for use with Sprint or Verizon Wireless plans. I don't know if that's just for the speakerphone usage, or for the docking purposes. Here's the link to it at the palm store

Reading the specs, I reckon that this product should work with practically all current Palm models which uses the Universal connector.
 
I think the audio coming from the TX is being sent to the Universal connector. The extra 3.5mm connector is used for an optional secondary source (ie. external CD/MP3 player)
