You have to be really picky about fabric from walmart. It has to be fairly wide. You can get 6x9 muslins on ebay for pretty cheap. If you can find some sheers on there they work pretty well too. They are bigger too and pretty inexpensive. Just put them up in front of a white sheet and its not quite so plain. I have ten or so in all different colors. If you just want plain white, double up a sheet and it will work.
I shot my sister in law's senior pictures in front of walmart fabric. Its tricky. Knowing I could get muslin backdrops on ebay for cheap, I would have done that in a second. Good Luck - Bob
