helping children & learning from it? this is a little of my "story" to give you a better idea of what to look for: This experience definitely changed me. These kids care so much about other people and it could be because most of them do have pretty rough backgrounds. On one of my days there I sorted books for this the books for Africa program. These kids have been collecting books for this program for a long time, some of them even used their own money to buy new books to give away, money these kids don’t have. They just seem to understand so much more about the world than normal kids do. Before this experience I had already decided that wanted to “save the world” as all my friends call what I want to do, but this made me care even more. If these kids can devote their time and energy to people they don’t know, when they themselves are in need as well then I definitely can, and I absolutely will.
And this is the assignment : Relate this experience to a specific passage or story in sacred
scripture citing the book, chapter and verses as well as the story itself.
