I have one type x 12"
3000watt max
1000watt rms
at 4 ohms
so i need to use an amp like
Power Acoustik OV1-4000D Class D Gothic Series 4000-Watt Mono
because it has 1200 watts rms at 4 ohms and thats what i need....
but my concern is that it costs over $250 and im not rich....ha
so im wondering if i can hook up 2 amps to my type x and add up both rms's to around 1000watts
for example i already own a phonics digital pd 393 1000 watt 2 channel amp...so if i buy another non expensive good amp(mono) that pushes like another 500 - 600 rms could i then hook up both of them to the type x and power somewhere around 1000-1200 watts rms...so this would save me alot of money instead of buying a $300 amp
if you can help me out then please elt me know if that even possible and if it is what kind of amp should i get im trying to keep it around $130......thanks
