alpine type R 1242d help?

i plan on getting 2 of these powered by 2 alpine pdx 1.600 amps, 1 running each sub... just wanted to know if these subs are worth the $225 they cost, i currently have 2 12 inch pioneer tsw 302 r i think, they sound pretty decent and was wondering if these will sound ALOT better or just a bit better..
 
that is a good price for two of them and there is no comparison, the alpine in a much higher quality speaker
