Alpine type e or type s?

Okay i have a kicker CVX already but i know you should not mix subs but im going to anyways haha.
I am looking at either a Type e or type s alpine
So i was wondering which one would sound better with the cvx because my cvx seems to hit a lot of lows but not as good on the highs which one of those would hit better highs? and dont tell me type r is better i know it is i just dont want to spend too much money; i just want another 12 inch that hits more highs than the cvx the cvx hits too much lows and i need some highs haha
please leave some feedback on which one would work better for what i want
 
Personally i would recommend a 12" 2? Type-R which will hit the highs you need, and still provide you with the lows that are wanted as well..

If you are willing to spend a little more money, definitely go with an FI type Q sub, which is the best sub just one price step up!=]
