Hi I recently bought an alpine mrp-m1000 amp and 2 sws - 1043 D
subwoofers they guy at the store said it would work but im not to sure
I have 2 type S subs
300 rms 900 peak dual voice coil (4 ohm +4 ohm each voice coil impedence right?)
and my amplifier is 1000rms at 2 ohms
or 600 rms at 4 ohms
it is a mono channel amp
my question is can i power both of my subs using their maximum capability
of 300 rms by hooking them up in series or will this raise the ohm impedance if so is there a better way to wire these so i am not underpowering or overpowering the subs and not damaging the amp or subwoofers
