This is my 2nd favorite movie of all time, my first being The Goonies. This movie is amazing and beautiful. Cameron Crowe is sooo talented as both a writer and a director. His dialogue is so right on spot with life. Also, the bootleg version is 2x as good as the original (if thats possible :) )

Agreed! It's just so good.

Penny Lane: How old are you?
William Miller: Eighteen.
Penny Lane: Me too! How old are we really?
William Miller: Seventeen.
Penny Lane: Me too!
William Miller: Actually, I'm sixteen.
Penny Lane: Me too. Isn't it funny? The truth just sounds different.
William Miller: I'm fifteen.

So sweet.

I love Almost Famous.
Wasn't expecting anything major, but it totally rocked. So did the soundtrack

It wasn't Jason, but it wasn't Nancy Wilson either. Nancy wrote the lyrics, but she didn't sing them. Marti Frederiksen did Jeff Bebe's vocals.

yep the tiny dancer scene rocks............... Love when the tiny dancer moments happen in real life too :D

How great is this movie? Seriously. Definitely one of my all-time favorites. It evokes all kinds of feelings about possibility at any age, which is hard for me to feel from most movies these days.

Hi all!

Is Tiny Dancer Elton John's solo song, or is it some band's?
I know it's an old song and that he's singing, but some site said that he sang that song while he was in some band...?
I don't know.

I also love this movie. It`s a great character driven movie. The sing along to Tiny Dancer is one of the best scenes ever made. Watching Almost Famous makes me wish that i could go back to the 70`s. I need to get my copy of the bootleg cut soon.

first - I'm addicted to this. i think I saw Almost Famous more then 20 times in the last 3 years.

i wanted to ask if someone of you know where i can find some screencaps.
all I can find are the "usual" stockpics und some screencaps 100x150px and bad quality...

Yep, I know. That's one of the things that makes the story was unique. And I love how he's married to Nancy from Heart. I love Heart.

I love all his movies though.
