Hi everyone!! I am still here...after about a month of not taking the hydro everyday. I ended up getting "dropped" by my doctor for "continued use and abuse of prescription narcotics" what a joke!! This time i really didn't abuse them, not too badly anyway...I would run out maybe 2 or 3 days ahead of time....I just had a pharmacist who refused to fill even 1 day early without notifying the doctor. Anyway...I was switched to MS Contin....15 mgs 2x daily which was quite a shock to my system being used to 90mgs of hydro a day 1 1/2 10's every 4 hours. So...he upped it to 30 mgs 2x per day...well the morphine did squat for me....never has but I thought I'd give it a chance since it was cheaper than oxycontin....called the office, the nurse told me to get rid of the morphine come it and get a new script...which I did!! Flushed the rest of them....got to the docs office and was told that since I didn't bring the morphine with me he couldn't give me a new script!! What a load...well of course I explained what happened but there was no persuading him....I asked to be put back on the hydro since they actually told me to get rid of those as well...I even called the nurse and she agreed she told me to get rid of them, too!! So....I was forced into withdrawal and went through hell...that was over the 4th of July no less. A great holiday ruined for my 3 year old and 1 1/2 year old 
Anyway...things are better now...I still have pain every single d**m day, but am not fiending or craving for hydros anymore. It does get better....stick with it...and taper taper taper if you can...coming off cold turkey is no walk in the park! Especially having to take care of young ones!! So now...I have no doctor and my medical recorRAB will show discharged for abuse of medication!! Nice...maybe it was a blessing in disguise...plus no insurance, but that's OK...the only reason I ever went to the doc was for my back (2 surgeries so far...fusion stopped "fusing" after 40%...then 2 pregnancies so it's pretty messed up. Stick with this people....it will get better!!!
