I hear you. I loved seeing Ally happy for once on the show and that all faded once Larry left. He was so great for her.

I'm so glad this thread is moving now. For awhile there, it was constantly on page 8 or something, so keep posting guys! :hug: ;)

AlwaysHoldingOn - Yes, I do watch WAB. I haven't been too pleased with some of the storylines lately, but I still think it's a good show. :)

SpySyd - That's so funny, because I wanted her to hook up with Matthew Perry's character as well. And I found JBJ's character to be a snoozefest and too boring for Ally. Of course that could just be because I don't think he's much of an actor. :lol: And I couldn't stand the whole Ally having a daughter storyline, either. It was just so ridiculous to me.

I suppose that one "I don't know how to say goodbye... but Sam does". Ok, I definitely don't remeraber what he exactly said, but it was powerful moment, definitely.

I adored Ally/Billy and when he died I was wondering how they will carry out new love interest for Ally. And Lary was great, totally good for her.

They didn't even change the title to the season 4 finale, which makes watching that episode even more depressing. It was titled "The Wedding" and they just didn't even have enough time to rename it before the episode aired.

Right now I'm listening to "Chances Are." It's such a great song. Vonda & Robert's version is wonderful, but Martina McBride's and Bob Seger's version (the original) is good, too.

I can't believe we have an Ally/Larry thread I never knew about! :woot:

To echo what has been said, it was so hard to watch Season 5 knowing that the couple were finito, especially after falling so in love in Season 4. :( Right from the first episode where they were arguing time after time in Tracy's office, I was hooked on them. Very few couples have me immediately interested but these two pulled it off. The way Larry threw all of Ally's argument back in her face was legendary:

Larry: I have a slight problem with your lament on prioritising sex as you come in here wafting of vanilla wearing a $2000 outfit designed to punctuate every contour of your body looking very much like the women in the magazines except I don't have the luxury of turning the page. As for locating self-worth in physical appearance, I'm sure there's a mirror somewhere in your little Prada purse, and as much as you might hate the idea of being the object of a man's desires, what you truly loathe is the idea that one day you might not be. And the questions burning deep deep DEEP down to the lip gloss is... Has that day already arrived?

Did he take a breath during that speech? :D

I had always hoped RDJ would make a cameo in the finale just to give us some hope. Or maybe they could have made Maddie come from Detroit so Ally had to go back there and not to New York. Then, she would be in Detroit courts and it would only be a matter of time before she and Larry crossed paths again.
