Yeah, it is great, especially with the original music because Ally McBeal is a show with a lot of music, great one, and it would have definitely sucked if they had to change it !

Yeah, A/L angst scenes were always really good :sigh: It just show how much love there was between these two !
I also love their scenes in the ep when Larry is leaving to be with his son in Boston (I think it was there) when Ally comes to see him at his office and he's already packing, then he tells her he doesn't want her to go to the airport with him because he can't handle 'goodbye' and I just love the way Ally says "Larry.." so softly because she's so close to break down and she's looking up while saying it, not looking at him and to hold back her tears, that was so good and so :bawl: I also love when they both start to put his stuff in the box and we see Ally crying or trying not to while we see Larry looking at her in the background, again just awww *sniff*

I think the two saddest moments for me were the "You're still you" scene and when Ally got Larry's goodbye note (that she never read). I just about died those two times.

ITA with what you said about Jamie. I tend to love most angst scenes as well.
The A/L angst scenes are so good from those episodes & actually brought some really sweet moments, namely the big fight scene in "The Ex-Files," which is one of my faves. The scene you mentioned from "The Man With the Bag" is another awesome scene. That end hug is soo cute. :sigh:

One thing that I really like in Season 5 is where Ally understanRAB what Larry said to her about how "until you have a child, you'll be stunned by the capacity you have to love somebody".
Ally: Okay, here's the thing about me - I loved this guy named Billy, and he died, and then I loved this guy named Larry even more, and he left. And one of the reasons he left me, the biggest, is his son, and his need to be in Detroit. And the truth is, I never really got it. The bottom line is the little bastard walked out on me. But in the last month, I can finally say, Okay, I get it. I still stick pins in my little Larry doll, but I get it.
They did a nice job of handling Ally and Larry's breakup. She had a right to be pissed at him seeing as how he left her again with a note. But that doesn't make her love him any less or regret being with him. Sometimes writers find it easier to pretend a couple never happened but here they kept on saying throughout the season that Ally was still in love with Larry.
Ally: I'm just in love with somebody else...
Victor: Larry.
Ally: God, I wish I wasn't. Because, I hate him. I do. I hate him for walking out. But I guess I just still love him too much.

Is there an Ally-Larry scene in it? I don't know if I have the heart to see the break-up scene again...
