Alltel vs. Verizon - Questions?

Verizon acquired Alltel a while back -- essentially they kept the Alltel name to avoid monopoly lawsuits, but for all intents and purposes Alltel is the same as Verizon (If you're an Alltel customer you have network coverage anywhere Alltel or Verizon exist and if you're a Verizon customer you have coverage anywhere Verizon or Alltel exist)

Okay, so they're the same thing -- so what? Well, the plans for these two companies are still different. For example, Verizon's nights still start at 9:01pm, but Alltel allows you to start nights at 7pm?

I currently have Sprint and would like to move to Verizon, but having nights start at 9pm instead of 7pm is a huge deterrent.

Does Verizon offer nights starting at 7pm? I wasn't able to locate it on their site.

(Note: As I mentioned, Alltel and Verizon are treated as two different companies for legal reasons. As such, only one or the other is available in the region in which you live. This is what prevents me from simply subscribing to Alltel -- I would need to subscribe with Verizon proper)
