Who is right? I had an Alltel account, the 2 years of my contract were up so I called them on August 4th and asked them to turn of my phone. The last bill I paid was July 7th. Alltel bills in advance, correct, meaning that the bill I paid in July was for the next billing cycle that lasts (for me) July 13th through August 12th. So When I called on August 4th I told them they could shut my phone off that day. They said that the phone had already been paid to be used until August 12th so lets shut it off that day. I told them AS LONG AS I DO NOT RECIEVE ONE MORE BILL FROM ALLTEL I don't care when it gets shut off. So the phone was shut off August 12th. Who calls me today? Alltel, they say I owe them $103.24. First of all my bills are ALWAYS over $110.. Its just how my plan was set up, so I'm not sure where they got $103.24 from. Second, Alltel bills in advance, correct? meaning that I don't owe them anything. So my questions are, one am I right, does Alltel bill in advance? Would my payment in July cover my billing cycle from mid July until mid August (as it always has). Second, if I am right, what do I do? I'm in an area where there are no Alltel stores for me to go into to. How do I get them to take off this bill?
