Well, it will never be to where the devices are merged and Verizon customers have the ability to use Alltel devices. Alltel customers will be able to take full advantage of Verizon Wireless devices whenever they are completely merged over (6 or so months). Also, Alltel customers need to watch out! You will be charged your early termination fee for your Alltel account if you choose to get a Verizon Wireless device now or even after they merger is complete. You must still honor the terms of your Alltel contract...so if you get a Verizon Wireless device, you basically throw your Alltel contract away.
