Allergy shots

Does anyone have any side effects to their allergy shots? I seem to feel really wiped out for a couple of days afterwarRAB. I get really tired and want to sleep. I feel a general all over crudiness. Can anyone relate?:confused:
 
Never had that problem - and I took them 3 times. Am sure you are taking an antihistamine the day of, correct?
 
Yes, I am on Allegra and sudefed. Etc...Benadryl too at times. I just feel lousy for a few days. Not sure if there is something else wrong with me. Hmmmm it's a mystery. I just want to know if anyone else out there has felt bad from them. Thanks!
 
how long have you been on the shots and what level are you on? my allergist said if I was feeling excessively tired that it indicated we needed to slow down the dosage.

I just got up to my .25 of the D vial in July and have had one instance where I was really worn out and had to scale back for a couple of weeks.
 
I have been taking Zrtec and it doesn't work at al.Before that I was taking Benadryl and that worked better but it sure didn't clear everything up for me.I never thought of getting an allergy shot because I never knew there were shots for allergies.I think my allergies are pet related inside the house.My sinuse's have not been clear for like 2 month's.
 
I had quit my shots for a year. Now I am only of the 4th week. So the dosage isn't high. But my body sure doesn't like it.
