Yesterday i went for my yearly allergy appt with the new doc. They did the full panel on my back.. the skin prick/scratch tests. I basically had no reaction. He asked if he wanted me to do the (can't remeraber the name) where they actually inject the allergen under the skin. I said sure. I had a reaction to grass, trees, ragweed and dogs. None of them really itched. The right arm i felt more. He said if i ever get fed up with feeling like this i could try shots.
If i don't have much of a reaction is it worth it to do the shots? not sure if it would make any difference in my sinusitis issues? Strange there was no reaction to cats. I usually get itchy eyes after holding a kitten.. adult cats don't seem to bother me. The doc seemed a little rushed.. and i couldn't tell him why my face was so puffy without getting upset. I put my old dog to sleep yesterday.
so if you don't think you have major reactions to things.. do you try shots? Maybe i'm having more of a reaction and don't notice?
