Does anyone know if nasal irrigation will help with a sore throat caused by post nasal drip due to allergies? Antihistamines don't seem to help and the sore throat is really bad. My ENT gave me antibiotic that worked but as soon as I got off the medicine, the sore throat came back.
 
It certainly can't hurt but you may need another round of antibiotics as well if getting rid of the PND doesn't take care of the sore throat. You can also try warm salt water gargles as they help with allergy related sore throats.
