 Food allergies/sensitivies are VERY frustrating! I used to be so sensitive to corn syrup that having regular soda pop with it, cough syrups, and imitation pancake syrups. When I would consume even a small amount, I would almost instantly get near migraine headaches, What was going on inside my head was swelling of the brain because of consuming cornsyrup! I would become very irritable, crabby, and begin to yell.
My allergy to turkey was so bad that even when it was roasting in the oven, with a lid on the roasted, I broke out in a red "sunburn" type rash. I practically had my specialist on speed dial! All fish, poultry, peanut butter, and other items gave me asthma attacks.

I was so happy when I could reintroduce some of the foods again. I was on a rotation diet which ment not repeating food groups for 4 days. I couldn't have cinnoman for a year.

Best wishes and hope you have patience with your body during this slow process.

My mom is allergic to potatoes. She cannot even eat at a place where they share the deep fryer with potatoes/fries.

My allergies are starting to act up because of the season. Drat.

Rain helps to wash the pollen out of the air and off outside surfaces so that's probably why you're feeling a bit better.

I'm allergic to basically everything, everything that has artificial flavor, aroma, everything that has conservants (is that the correct word?). Some of the things I can't have for now are ham, cheese, milk, chocolate, candy, gum, strawberry, kiwi, pineapple, a kind of banana, watermelon, passion fruit, juice that comes in bottles/boxes/powder, soda, sausage, bacon, hot dogs, colored ice-creams, any kind of seasoning that is not salt, and I could go on and on :goof:  Everytime I go somewhere and they're serving food and I say I can't people ask why and I say I'm allergic, and ask but allergic to what, and everytime I explain they're like :jaw_drop:, lol

Fortunately, my doctor said I'll be able to start eating these things again, little by little, in May :yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:

Ouch that sounds bad.

I'm allergic to dust, some type of medicine which I always forget the name of, vodka and I get hayfever too.

Was only a one off thing. And the wheezing was very light. Plus I don't know what it was that triggered it off. All I know is that it was a brownie from a McDonald's in Turkey. Them nuts triggered it whatever they were.

Today I dont feel as bad. But its been raining. I will test this more. Hopefully it is what Yellow Mustang Girl said, a virus or cold and not allergies :D

karen bun

What, like the cicadas? :lmao:

I'm not allergic to anything, expect the glue, but not super glue or PVC. human glue. the glue you used to glue on false eyelashes. Found a two years ago. Weird!

Sjnce having kids I have become allergic/sensitive to many foods, enviornmental causes-dust, dust mites, mold spores, pollen, grasses, trees: birch, alder, cottonwood, scotch brom, cats, cattle, & horses. Fragrant flowers bother my eyes, nose, ears, throat, and chest causing an asthma attack.

i've had allergies my entire life. the only time they didn't really give me a lot of trouble was the year or so in high school that i got allergy shots. now they're completely back...the last couple days i've been coughing so much i have a headache. *ugh* joys of living in the midwest.

I've never been allergic to outdoor stuff.

I get bad hives if I get glitter on me or any other cheap metals actually, I get hives if I get too hot, and sometimes I get hives from certain scents.

It's weird and I don't understand it. :goof:

Yeah, its that time of year. Pollen is in the air. Somedays I'm fine and other days I'll have an attack and use a ton of Kleenex.

Hazelnuts...and traces of which are often found in a lot of chocolate. Me being a raging chocoholic, I find this really upsetting heh. It's never anything serious though. Just makes my throat feel really tight and itchy =/. Although one time on holiday I was wheezing all night and was scared to go to sleep :(

It could be a Nickel allergy! I can't wear it either and thats what I have. I had earrings removed surgically out of my ears!

With the coming of spring, my allergies have really started bothering me again...ugh...
