I'm severly allergic to grapes, thus cooking with sherry or wine is out of the question. Are there any other alternatives that I could use in cooking that are similar to red wine or sherry? Thanks!
Beer is good in lots of recipes though probably not in the ones that are asking for wine or sherry. For the most part you can just skip the wine or sherry, try some other kind of alcohol or substitute something else - experiment.
