I have allergic symptoms (such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, itchy and dry nose, itchy eyes) all year round for 7 years. The symptoms sometimes are severe, sometimes are mild. I had two times allergy tests (blood test) this year and all the results are normal (specific allergens are

Are you from outside the US? Just wondering why you went with the blood test rather than the skin scratch test and are thinking the drops instead of the shots. That's more typical for food allergies (blood test) here in the US.

I'm living in Maryland. My family doctor let me do the blood tests twice this year. Blood test checked the specific allergens like dust mites, pollen and animal dander etc., but no food. Since the two test results are all normal, my family doctor recommended me to see a specialist. When I brought my test reports to see an ENT & allergist, I expected he would give me some different test (like skin test), but he didn

It's rather new here and I'm not surprised your insurance company doesn't cover it. I'd ask about scratch testing. Do antihistamines not help?

I've read about a company that produces such drops..the line is bioAllers. There are different forumations depending on the irritant(s_. Some people say they work--I don't know personally. You can look it up on line. Iits not Rx. I know a nuraber of people who get shots...but I've never heard about either of our allergists prescribing drops.

Ay,
Did you ever try the drops? I'm very surprised that they didn't do a skin test as well. I thought all allergists did those!

The clinic I'm looking at doing the drops at does skin testing as well as some other testing (but because they aren't covered by my insurance, I'm kind of hoping they will take the tests I had done at my allergists last year!)

Has anybody else tried the drops instead of shots?
