so for the past year i have been haveing breathing problams after i eat, which i ignored until i started getting more symptoms. my last two i was having problems breathing, fast heart rate, head ache, nausea and light headed-ness, these lasted for many 40 minutes each but eventually went away.

now i avoid doctors at all costs, but i went because of this because i like breathing. his reply was "it's not serious if it goes away on it's own" and then proceeded to ignore my concerns. everyone else i talk to who has some sort of allergies says other wise, even my dad who has allergies that cause breathing problems!

the reaction always happens to different fooRAB/situations and i have not been able to pin point it to one thing, it has just become part of my life along with all my other daily symptoms.

so was my doctor wrong in saying that? either way i am never going back to him.

in Canada we need to be refereed to one, last time i saw my ex-doctor i asked if he would and he said no because he did not think it was allegry related.

so no, and now i have no doctor.

Maybe you need to find a new doctor who will take your allergies seriously enough to recommend you to an allergist. You need to find out exactly what you're allergic to so you can avoid it the future, and you may be allergic to more than just one type of food.

Maybe the next time you have a reaction, write down what you've eaten. That might help.
