...why will Obama not grant it? All we need is federal approval to begin construction on the largest construction project of all time, Alaska's natural gas pipeline, which will feed all the way to Chicago ! That is thousands of jobs! The contract for the job has already been given to Transcanada, we already have Alaska State approval, we just need federal approval. WHY NOT OBAMA ? Build the pipeline ! Clean Natural Gas will flow to the states and thousands will be employed! Approving this will win Obama a lot of votes.

There are terms of conditions set by Alaska to hire Alaskans, and I am sure Obama will have his own conditions. There will be such a huge demand for work that both America tradesmen and Canadians will benefit. There are tradesmen who made millions working on Alaska's oil pipeline.
