I run a school website, and all of a sudden, all the php files (except the index.php file) on the site have been converted to .php.asc. When looking at these files now in an editor, they have been encrypted. Here is what I see:

-----BEGIN PGP MESSAGE-----
Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux)

****gibberish for 65-ish line****

-----END PGP MESSAGE-----

Does anybody know what this means? Obviously, I'm afraid that we've been hacked, but don't know what to do to change this.

Who would hack the school website, like seriously.

haha, anyway, I have no idea what any of this means.

Sorry <3

Night three of the play tonight though.
