All of my fish in a 35 gallon tank have died in the last few days. How do I clean it?

I think the fish all had a fungus, they were covered in a white fuzz and they all died fast (days). I have a mini crab that is still alive, could he be carrying this fungus or whatever it was? How do I clean the tank sufficiently to start over?

Basically clean it the way it was when you got it. Take EVERYTHING out including plants, rock, and water. Clean the tank very well, you will have to get clean your rocks very well, soap and water should do the trick! Just don't use any kind of bleach product because the rocks will absorb it and then release it back into the water killing your new fish. You will have to throw away all live plants, but you can clean and keep fake ones. Then put everything back the way it was, fill up the tank, add conditioner, let it go through a cycle for at least 12 hours just to be safe since you have to get new rocks and live plants, add your fish and move on! Good luck!

No need to clean out the tank. Get medication to treat it. The cause of it could be stress or poor water quality. Get the water tested and make plenty of water changes.
