All of my album cover pictures disappeared on my iPod how do I get them back?

Okay,, so one day I plugged in my iPod to charge it,, and everything was perfectly fine! But, then when I unplugged it after it was fully charged ALL OF THE ALBUM COVER PICTURES WERE GONE,, haha! Does anyone know how to get them back? And I do use iTunes,, and i had all of my album cover pictures on my iPod before I plugged it into my computer to charge it.

I appreciate all answers, and if anyone could help me that'd be greaat! thanksss!
