All New Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

Are we really going to have to put up with another 6 weeks (and perhaps the next series?) of Tarrant going "all new" and all the derivatives.... and now we have flashbacks to the previous programme and each lifeline taken by the cross-over (from 1 ep to the next) contestant.... It really is quite dire now...
 
Tuesday night is the graveyard slot anyway. They put all the ITV quizzes on and they get zero viewers. Remember that great quiz with Mel (from des and mel) where you could win a million too. I think someone won on there. Great quiz but no one watched somehow.
 
It always annoys me when they flash up the lifelines before the contestant has said they will go with a lifeline. It's a sure sign that's the choice they will make...
And you're probably right, the next question will not be a good one for him...
And I wish they would stop saying "when you come back next week", etc. Surely everyone knows now they are filmed in blocks. Stop the pretence. It still makes me laugh the way Chris covers up the date on his cheque with his thumb. That only started a couple of years back...
 
Well it could be worse, should be grateful we still have the show we originally started. After all the Americans screwed it over with their new format.
 
The flashbacks are nothing new. They used retrospectives from the previous show when the show started in 1998, they dropped them come 2002.

As for the "all new", Tarrant will be saying it every time right up to the end of the series as they recorded all ten shows inside five days (two shows per day).
