Hello all I have a ku990 lock to orange it is software v 10g-aug 12 2008 tried both the methods listed and they dont work any ideas how I might go about unlocking it?

Heh smarter. Show me one lg factory soft using that ? Can you ? You can't ... You know why ? Because simple doesnt exist. So what if method is simple as long was hidden. In all phones are more or less backdoors that smart people find excluding time such backdoors fall in hands of idiots. Also method to unlock KS20 is also easy but different, can you show me some factory soft reading codes ? Uhmm ... guess not also dont exists. We should also thx to factory ?! Also AT protocol is well known since long time, even SEMC uses it to unlock phone Still waiting to show me a factory soft using that command because in 200+GB LG fto theres no code reader, direct unlock, imei changer for any mobile...beside U400 but only brown version.

Hi everyone.
I want to unlock a KU990 but i am having trouble...
i dont even tryed to unlock it by this program because phone is new and
i wanted to unlock it safe, doing the backup NV. I tried to use LGMDP_EURO
bur i did not succed to make backup. program detects phone on COM2,
but when i try to make backup, program shuts down... i dont know what to do...
Please anyone can explain procedure. I also can detect phone in MTTY soft, but
cant do anithing else...
Help will be very appreciated.

please help me ..I need some advice how and where can I unlock my gsm my provider is VODAFONE in the netherland, because I bought it recently so I cant unlock it through the provider it must be only after 1 year. The only way to do it as I am I searching in the internet is to buy. This type is not easily find in the list of the internet online unlocker.

Well, yes, soft does unlock ku990 viewty, BUT, with mine, it has changed imei to BT address, and now, i cannot change it back for love nor money, the cust will be here in the am to collect it, if not, i msut replace, cos with bt id as imei, it will not call out, texts, yes, calls, no....

check in program files folder as I had the old original LG sw downloaded there it auto saves everything there

DO NOT USE THIS SOFT TO UNLOCK KU990 VIEWTY PHONE!


Simply cos it screws imei horridly, and changes it to bt address, and for newbies, or freeloaders with no time or patience to search, the art of trying to upload the NV is a pain in the ***!


If the lg downloader is not working correclty for you, or if it isnt recognising the NV file, then you must change the name of ORIGINAL BACKED UP NV file to same name as imei on handset, which will be the BT id, THEN it should work no problem at all!

Failing that, use the solution posted ni this thread called 'unock, change imei with no need for NV' or somethnig close to that!

Also, make sure that you change comport of viewty to a low number, preferably less than 10. This will ensure more accurate procedures for you!
