hi guys
i have problem with KE970 (europe)
i want to make backup of NV. i install drivers for usb cable (LGUSBModemDriver_ML_WHQL_Ver_4.6.exe, from LG mobile sync software) all parts of ke970 are installed propertly in device manager, lg usb modem installed at COM6 (i try to change from 2-20 number).
problem:
LGMDP_EURO can't detect phone.
i saw many post here with same problem but i didn't found anything more then "change com port number to lower 1-8 and try again"
please answer if anybody tried to make backup of NV with LGMDP_EURO for KE970

Trying to use the IMEI change funciton to change my phone IMEI back to the original as it got deleted while unlocking (I was stupid enough not to make the backup (
But while it only allows me to enter 14 digits while my IMEI has 15 digits

also on step one, it says use WM to choose nv file, when i clik on WM after bakcing up the nv, it says "one instance of windows enabler is enough"

try to use the LGMDP_EURO and other USB port...

i also encountered your problem, when i transfered the data cable to other USB port, it's work fine man....

i already unlocked 2x LG KU380....

the search of COM PORT is settated in AUTOMATIC?
do u have installated ALLS the DRIVER?
LGMDP,not write only the NV, if not use the correct version

Since you are on 3, you should be using the LGMDP_H3G, not the LGMDP_OPEN!

What cable to use? - The USB that came with the phone?
Which LGMDP to use to restore NV (is it WM?)
